  • AI Engineer

A leading real estate development platform in Saudi Arabia is seeking to appoint an AI Engineer to build and lead its internal AI capability, supporting smarter decision-making and automation across commercial, retail, residential, and property management portfolios.

    The Company

Our client is a forward-thinking real estate platform operating across multiple asset classes in the Kingdom. As the business scales, it is investing in building robust internal AI infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency, improve analytical workflows, and prepare for AI-driven transformation across departments.

    The Role

Reporting to the CEO / Head of IT, the AI Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing the company’s core AI and data infrastructure.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on shipping production-ready solutions and not research or experimentation. Working closely with a Head of IT and Business/AI Analyst, you will translate business use cases into practical AI systems that integrate internal data with frontier large language models.

You will build modular, secure, and scalable systems that enable non-technical teams to leverage AI-powered insights in their daily operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and build central data infrastructure (e.g., ClickHouse, data lake, or equivalent) aggregating data from property management, leasing, finance, and operations systems.
    • Integrate frontier LLMs (Claude, GPT-4, or equivalent) via API as the reasoning and analysis layer on top of internal datasets.
    • Develop and maintain retrieval pipelines (RAG architecture) to intelligently select and manage context for LLM interactions.
    • Build internal tools, dashboards, and interfaces enabling business users to interact with AI-driven analysis.
    • Implement data security, access controls, and compliance protocols to safeguard sensitive real estate and tenant information.
    • Architect modular systems where LLM providers, databases, and tools can be swapped as technology evolves.
    • Monitor AI output quality and implement validation and feedback loops to mitigate hallucinations and inaccuracies.
    • Document system architecture, processes, and dependencies thoroughly to minimise operational risk.
    • Stay current with AI developments and proactively recommend relevant innovations to enhance operations.

    Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of software engineering experience and demonstrate:

    • Strong proficiency in Python.
    • Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar).
    • Practical data engineering expertise, including ETL pipelines and SQL.
    • Experience with analytical databases such as ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, or equivalent.
    • Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and context management strategies.
    • Familiarity with orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).
    • Experience deploying and maintaining production services (Docker, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD basics).
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders.

    Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits as applicable.

    Location & Working Pattern

Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with office based working.
