  • Mechanical Engineering Construction Director

    Our client is an internationally recognised multidisciplinary engineering and design consultancy with a long-standing presence across Asia-Pacific and a portfolio spanning complex buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities. Their Singapore business is widely regarded for technical depth and the quality of its client relationships.

    As part of continued growth in the region, they are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Construction Director / Manager to lead the delivery of MEP consultancy services on major projects, provide senior technical leadership across the discipline, and act as a trusted advisor to key clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Take overall responsibility for the delivery of MEP consultancy services across major and technically complex projects, from design development through to construction completion
    • Provide senior technical leadership and design review across all MEP disciplines, ensuring engineering quality, code compliance, and full interdisciplinary coordination
    • Direct multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver against agreed scope, programme, budget, and quality benchmarks, intervening early where performance or risk requires it
    • Identify technical and commercial risk across the project lifecycle and drive resolution with clients, contractors, and internal delivery teams before issues escalate into disputes or claims
    • Provide technical input across procurement and contract administration, including tender documentation, contractor engagement, submission review, and response to site technical queries
    • Lead constructability, safety, operability, and maintainability reviews, ensuring design intent is carried through to a buildable and serviceable outcome
    • Act as the senior point of contact for clients, reporting on progress, risk, and key decisions, and building the trusted relationships that generate repeat and referral work
    • Mentor and develop engineering staff while upholding quality management systems, statutory obligations, health and safety standards, and professional conduct

    Requirements

    • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or a related engineering discipline
    • Substantial post-graduate experience in MEP engineering design, design management, or project delivery, gained within a consultancy environment
    • Proven track record leading the delivery of large-scale, technically complex building or infrastructure projects in Singapore or the wider Asia-Pacific region
    • Professional registration or chartered status with a recognised institution (PE, CEng, MIES, CIBSE or equivalent) is strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to coordinate consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders across all project phases
    • Strong commercial and contractual awareness, including risk management, claims avoidance, and contract administration
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the credibility to advise clients at senior level
    • Full right to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizen or PR preferred; Employment Pass candidates with directly relevant local experience will be considered)

  • Fit-Out Programme Manager

    Our client is a globally recognised Project Management Consultancy with a strong track record of delivering complex, high-value built environment projects across Asia-Pacific. With a well-established presence in Asia, the firm partners with leading financial institutions, global banks, and technology companies to deliver corporate workplace and fit-out projects. 

    They are currently seeking an experienced Fit-Out Programme Manager to join their Singapore team, supporting the delivery of high-profile corporate office and workplace projects for key financial and technology sector clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage the full programme lifecycle of corporate office and workplace fit-out projects from inception through to handover and post-occupancy
    • Establish and maintain the master programme schedule, ensuring alignment across all design, procurement, and construction workstreams
    • Oversee programme governance including reporting structures, risk registers, change management protocols, and project controls in line with PMC and client standards
    • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary consultant teams including architects, M&E engineers, specialist consultants, and main contractors
    • Serve as the primary client-facing interface, engaging confidently with senior stakeholders across project, real estate, and corporate services functions
    • Monitor and report on programme progress, budget, risks, and issues to senior management and the client, including executive-level dashboards and briefings
    • Drive resolution of technical, design, and commercial issues to ensure programme milestones and quality benchmarks are consistently achieved
    • Oversee procurement and performance management of contractors and subcontractors through tender, award, and delivery phases
    • Review and assess contractor valuations, variations, and claims in coordination with cost consultants
    • Ensure all project documentation, statutory compliance, and governance requirements are maintained throughout the full programme lifecycle

    Requirements

    • Minimum 10 years of project or programme management experience with a proven track record delivering large-scale corporate office and workplace fit-out projects in Singapore
    • Previous experience working with financial/banking or technology sector clients is highly advantageous
    • Prior experience within a Programme Management Consultancy (PMC) or client-side project management environment is strongly preferred
    • Strong understanding of programme controls including master scheduling, cost management, risk management, and change control
    • In-depth knowledge of Singapore’s regulatory and statutory framework including BCA, FSSD, and NEA requirements as they relate to fit-out works
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the gravitas to engage at C-suite and senior leadership level
    • Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related built environment discipline
    • Full right to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizen, PR)
