  • Infrastructure Engineering Manager

    MRG has partnered with a Tier 1 contractor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to support the infrastructure delivery for multiple mega – giga scale projects. Aligning with the Vision 2030 program. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, drive engineering innovation, and ensure design integration that the highest international and local standards. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Engineering Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, utilities, and civil structures. Ensure all designs are fit-for-purpose, cost-efficient, and aligned with project objectives.
    • Design Management: Oversee design review and coordination between consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments. Validate constructability, value engineering options, and compliance with Saudi building codes and international standards.
    • Project Integration: Work closely with project directors, planning teams, and procurement managers to align engineering outputs with construction schedules, budgets, and resources.
    • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the technical interface with government authorities, client representatives, consultants, and third-party service providers. Ensure timely submission and approval of engineering deliverables.
    • Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality systems and technical controls to safeguard project execution. Review shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.
    • Risk & Compliance: Identify engineering risks, provide mitigation strategies, and enforce compliance with HSE regulations and statutory requirements.
    • Team Development: Mentor, coach, and build high-performing engineering teams capable of delivering complex infrastructure programs under demanding conditions.
    • Innovation & Digital Engineering: Champion the use of BIM, digital project controls, and emerging engineering technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy across the project lifecycle.

    Candidate Profile

    • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Chartered/Professional Engineer accreditation is strongly preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in major infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in a senior engineering leadership role.
    • Project Exposure: Proven record of managing design and engineering on large-scale roads, highways, bridges, or civil infrastructure projects exceeding USD 500M in value.
    • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in structural design, geotechnical principles, utilities coordination, and value engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM tools, and other relevant engineering software.
    • Leadership: Ability to lead multicultural teams and interface effectively with senior stakeholders in high-pressure environments.
    • Regional Knowledge: Previous experience in the Middle East is essential; familiarity with Saudi Arabian codes, authority approval processes, and local market conditions is a distinct advantage.
    • Languages: Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are desirable but not mandatory.

  • Construction Director

    MRG is in partnership with a well reputed Tier 1 Main Contractor seeking to appoint a Construction Director – Major Roads & Infrastructure to join their senior leadership team.

    The Company

    A leading Tier-One main contractor with a strong presence across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure and urban development projects. The business is recognised for its delivery capability, safety culture, and involvement in nationally significant developments.

    The Role

    Reporting to the Projects Director, the Construction Director will hold full responsibility for the delivery of a major roads and highways package within a high-profile urban development. This is a senior site-based leadership role, accountable for end-to-end construction performance across programme, cost, quality, safety, and stakeholder alignment, operating within a complex, interface-heavy environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide overall construction leadership from mobilisation through to handover, ensuring delivery against programme and commercial objectives.
    • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary site teams, including construction, engineering, HSE, commercial, and planning functions.
    • Manage complex interfaces with clients, consultants, authorities, utilities, and adjacent contractors.
    • Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Tier-One HSE and quality standards.
    • Oversee construction methodology, sequencing, logistics, and risk management within constrained urban environments.
    • Act as the senior escalation point for delivery risks, programme challenges, and stakeholder issues.

    Candidate Profile

    The successful candidate will have extensive experience delivering major infrastructure projects and will demonstrate:
    • 20+ years’ experience in roads and highways or large-scale infrastructure delivery.
    • Proven senior leadership experience as a Construction Director, Project Director, or equivalent within a Tier-One contractor.
    • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing risk, change, and cost certainty.
    • Deep understanding of government-led developments and public-sector stakeholder environments.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead large, diverse teams.
