Our client is seeking an experienced M&E / CSA Quality Inspector to support quality assurance activities on a large-scale hyperscale data centre project in Johor, Malaysia. You will be responsible for ensuring all Mechanical, Electrical and Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) works are delivered in line with project specifications, approved standards, and the highest levels of quality before handover.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out inspections of M&E and CSA works across the data centre project
• Monitor site installation quality to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and approved methods
• Review ITPs, QA/QC procedures, checklists, and inspection records
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues
• Witness testing, commissioning, and inspection activities where required
• Identify defects, non-conformances, and corrective actions, ensuring timely close out
• Ensure compliance with client standards, Malaysian regulations, and industry best practices
• Maintain accurate quality documentation, reports, and inspection logs
• Support progress reporting and communicate quality risks to stakeholders
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on site

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an M&E / CSA Quality Inspector on data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of M&E systems and CSA construction works
• Experience inspecting HVAC, fire protection, electrical systems, finishes, structural, and architectural installations
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes, ITPs, testing procedures, and handover documentation
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good understanding of Malaysian construction standards and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and coordination skills with contractors and consultants
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to quality and problem solving
• Available to work on site in Johor, Malaysia
