This is an opportunity to play a critical role in the successful delivery of hyperscale data centre projects for our client, a leading Project Management Consultancy.

Our client is a leading Project Management Consultancy (PMC) specialising in mission-critical infrastructure. They deliver some of the region’s most complex data centre developments.
Based in Johor on a fixed-term contract, you will take ownership of the commercial and contractual aspects of major data centre projects, ensuring contractual compliance, protecting commercial interests, and supporting project delivery from contract execution through to close-out.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
You’ll provide strategic contract management across multiple project workstreams by:
- Managing the full lifecycle of construction contracts, including variations, extensions, claims and final account close-out.
- Leading the preparation, assessment and negotiation of contractual claims and variations.
- Managing dispute resolution activities, including supporting mediation, arbitration and contractual correspondence.
- Advising project teams on contractual obligations, commercial risks and entitlement under contract.
- Reviewing technical contract requirements relating to MEP, HVAC and power infrastructure.
- Monitoring contract performance, identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Maintaining accurate contractual records, notices and governance documentation.
- Supporting commercial negotiations with clients, contractors and suppliers to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Working closely with project managers, engineers and commercial teams to proactively manage contractual issues.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an experienced contract management professional who combines strong commercial acumen with technical understanding and excellent stakeholder management.
You’ll ideally bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing contracts on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong expertise in claims management, contract administration and dispute resolution.
- Experience interpreting complex construction contracts and managing commercial risk.
- A sound understanding of mission-critical infrastructure, including MEP services, HVAC systems and power distribution.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Experience delivering data centre projects is highly desirable; however, candidates with experience across other mission-critical sectors, including semiconductor facilities, hospitals, airports or major industrial developments, are also encouraged to apply.
Professional certifications in contract management, construction law, commercial management or dispute resolution will be viewed favourably.
