    The Role

    Reporting to the Chief Property Officer, the Project Director will assume overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a flagship hospitality development programme.

    This executive leadership role will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, programme requirements, budget, quality standards, governance processes and operational readiness. Acting as the key link between executive leadership and project delivery teams, the successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary stakeholders, consultants, contractors and internal business functions to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major hospitality development programme from design through construction, handover and opening.
    • Ensure project objectives are achieved across scope, programme, budget, quality, safety and operational readiness.
    • Oversee consultants, contractors, supply chain partners and project delivery teams.
    • Manage project governance, reporting, approvals and stage-gate processes.
    • Drive collaboration across development, design, operations, finance, permitting and support functions.
    • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
    • Oversee financial performance, cost control, budgets and project reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with all corporate, regulatory, environmental and safety requirements.
    • Act as the primary interface between project teams, executive leadership, investors and key stakeholders.
    • Support project handover and successful operational opening.

    Candidate Profile

    The successful candidate will be an accomplished project or development executive with experience delivering large-scale, capital-intensive projects within hospitality, real estate, mixed-use or major construction environments.

    Candidates should demonstrate:

    • Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
    • A minimum of 10–15 years’ experience in development, construction or project leadership roles.
    • Proven success delivering complex, large-scale CAPEX programmes and developments.
    • Strong commercial, financial and risk management capabilities.
    • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder environments.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
    • Experience presenting to executive teams, investors and boards.
    • A collaborative and strategic leadership style.
    • Hospitality, resort or destination development experience is highly desirable.
    • Fluency in both English and Greek.
