Analyst – Asset Management
Our client is a leading owner and developer of hospitality and leisure assets across the Middle East. As its portfolio continues to expand, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Analyst – Asset Management to join a high-performing team responsible for maximising the financial and operational performance of a diverse hospitality portfolio.

This role offers outstanding exposure to asset management, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making, working closely with senior leadership to support portfolio optimisation, capital investment initiatives, and long-term value creation.

The Role

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Asset Management, you will provide analytical support across portfolio performance, budgeting, financial modelling, and capital expenditure appraisal. You will play a key role in evaluating asset performance, preparing investment business cases, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance operational and financial returns.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring and analysing financial and operational performance across a hospitality portfolio.

Producing portfolio reporting, dashboards, and performance analysis for senior management.

Reviewing operator financial submissions, identifying trends, and highlighting material variances.

Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.

Developing financial models and feasibility studies for capital expenditure, refurbishment, and asset repositioning projects.

Analysing investment opportunities using financial modelling and return analysis.

Monitoring capital projects against approved budgets and projected returns.

Preparing reports and presentation material for ownership meetings, business reviews, and executive stakeholders.

Collaborating with operators and internal commercial, finance, and technical teams to support informed investment decisions.

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess a strong analytical mindset, along with excellent commercial awareness and financial modelling capabilities. You will be comfortable working with large volumes of financial data and translating analysis into meaningful commercial insights.

You will ideally have:

A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.

A professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent (or be working towards one).

3–5 years’ experience within asset management, hospitality finance, investment analysis, corporate finance, or real estate.

Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and business case preparation experience.

Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills.

An understanding of hospitality financial reporting and performance metrics such as RevPAR, GOP, and EBITDA.

Knowledge of USALI would be advantageous.

Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven insights.

Senior Associate – Asset Management

Reporting directly to the Corporate Director of Asset Management, this role offers an excellent opportunity for an analytically driven hospitality professional to contribute to the strategic oversight and performance optimisation of a diverse portfolio of hotels and leisure assets. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational, financial, and commercial initiatives across both third-party managed and self-operated properties.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Performance & Asset Oversight
- Support the ongoing performance management of a portfolio of hospitality and leisure assets.
- Monitor hotel and portfolio-level financial performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Track asset performance metrics and proactively flag operational or financial concerns.
- Assist in identifying and implementing initiatives to enhance revenue generation and improve operational efficiencies.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Review, benchmark, and analyse hotel financial statements and operating performance.
- Assist with the preparation and review of annual operating budgets, capital expenditure plans, and strategic business plans.
- Prepare and maintain reporting for budgets, CAPEX programmes, and FF&E reserve requirements.
- Support the preparation of Board, Executive Committee, and management reporting materials.
Asset Management Administration & Governance
- Attend Business Review Meetings (BRMs), prepare detailed minutes, and ensure timely distribution to stakeholders.
- Review and maintain compliance with Hotel Management Agreements (HMAs), loan agreements, and other key contractual documentation.
- Maintain HMA reference materials and asset management tracking tools.
Operator & Market Analysis
- Develop and maintain operator and brand benchmarking databases.
- Prepare operator evaluation materials and selection presentations.
- Support operator search processes through research, analysis, and presentation development.
- Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and industry developments impacting the portfolio.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within Asset Management, Investment Analysis, Hospitality Finance, Consulting, or a related field.
- Regional Middle East hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Strong financial analysis, modelling, and valuation capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Foundational understanding of hotel operations and hospitality performance metrics is advantageous.
