Our client is seeking an experienced M&E / CSA Quality Inspector to support quality assurance activities on a large-scale hyperscale data centre project in Johor, Malaysia. You will be responsible for ensuring all Mechanical, Electrical and Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) works are delivered in line with project specifications, approved standards, and the highest levels of quality before handover.

Responsibilities:

Carry out inspections of M&E and CSA works across the data centre project
Monitor site installation quality to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and approved methods
Review ITPs, QA/QC procedures, checklists, and inspection records
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues
Witness testing, commissioning, and inspection activities where required
Identify defects, non-conformances, and corrective actions, ensuring timely close out
Ensure compliance with client standards, Malaysian regulations, and industry best practices
Maintain accurate quality documentation, reports, and inspection logs
Support progress reporting and communicate quality risks to stakeholders
Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on site

Requirements:

Proven experience as an M&E / CSA Quality Inspector on data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale construction projects
Strong understanding of M&E systems and CSA construction works
Experience inspecting HVAC, fire protection, electrical systems, finishes, structural, and architectural installations
Knowledge of QA/QC processes, ITPs, testing procedures, and handover documentation
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Good understanding of Malaysian construction standards and regulatory requirements
Strong communication and coordination skills with contractors and consultants
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to quality and problem solving
Available to work on site in Johor, Malaysia
