The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of greenfield hyperscale data centers. This is a high-profile opportunity to represent the client at the highest level while driving projects from inception through handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the full project lifecycle: planning, procurement, design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage cost, programme, quality, and risk to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to world-class standards.
- Oversee project controls, governance, and reporting to both internal stakeholders and the client.
- Serve as senior client interface, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration among design consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with international best practices for mission-critical infrastructure.
- Mentor project managers and package leads to maintain consistency across all workstreams.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in large-scale construction projects.
- Proven expertise in cost, programme, construction quality, and risk management.
- Strong stakeholder and senior-level client management experience.
- End-to-end data center construction experience preferred; alternatively, strong track record in mission-critical projects such as airports, hospitals, semiconductor facilities, or industrial projects.
- Prior PMC or consultancy experience is advantageous.
