Our client is seeking to appoint a Mechanical Engineer to support their technical operations team.
The Company
A recognised provider of FM services operating across prestigious facilities and large-scale estates. The organisation is known for delivering consistently high-quality, safe, and efficient engineering operations.
The Role
Reporting to the Mechanical Consultant, the Mechanical Engineer will oversee the performance and maintenance of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and MEP services. The role ensures system reliability, contractor performance, and compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical maintenance and service providers
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes
- Review technical documentation and commissioning records
- Conduct inspections to verify contractor performance and safety
- Coordinate with electrical and civil engineering teams
- Analyse system failures and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi regulations
- Review design submissions and material submittals
- Monitor energy consumption and propose efficiency improvements
- Maintain asset records and maintenance schedules via CAFM
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have experience in mechanical engineering within FM and demonstrate:
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and FM operational frameworks
- Effective communication, coordination, and contractor management skills
