Our client is seeking to appoint a Marine Engineer to join their specialist marine operations division.
The Company

The Role
The Marine Engineer will provide technical governance, oversight, and compliance monitoring for all marine assets including vessels, pontoons, jetties, lift stations, and marine electrical/mechanical systems. The role ensures all marine operations meet royal protocols, HSE standards, and international maritime regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop marine engineering standards and lifecycle plans
- Ensure compliance with IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, and OEM guidelines
- Review PPM plans, method statements, and emergency procedures
- Provide technical advice on asset performance and lifecycle replacement
- Support tender evaluations and technical assessments
- Supervise contractors during inspections, repairs, and dry dockings
- Verify SLAs, quality of work, and FMMA compliance
- Coordinate with OEM specialists for complex systems
- Inspect docks, jetties, pontoons, lift stations, and fuel systems
- Ensure readiness of marine emergency response measures
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have extensive marine engineering experience and demonstrate:
- Deep technical expertise in marine systems and infrastructure
- Strong contractor oversight and compliance monitoring skills
- High professional integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
