A diversified UAE-based group is seeking a Group Operations and Supply Chain Manager to strengthen operational control across its portfolio of businesses.
The group operates across real estate, construction services, engineering, facilities services, and hospitality. The role will ensure that supply chain, production, procurement, facilities, engineering, and operational support functions work together without avoidable delay or disruption.
The successful candidate will oversee the operational chain from the sourcing and production of raw materials through to manufacturing, delivery, and use within live construction and building programmes.
This is a broad operational leadership role requiring someone who can establish disciplined processes, identify bottlenecks, improve accountability, and translate strategy into consistent execution.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee operational performance across the group
- Ensure supply chain activity supports production, construction, and service-delivery requirements
- Monitor the movement of materials from sourcing and production through to final delivery
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks affecting production schedules or construction programmes
- Establish operating rhythms, KPIs, reporting standards, and escalation procedures
- Improve procurement, inventory management, logistics, vendor management, and contract performance
- Coordinate facilities management and building engineering activity
- Strengthen quality assurance, health and safety, risk management, and operational controls
- Improve end-to-end processes across business units and shared support functions
- Introduce stronger management information, systems adoption, and accountability
- Improve productivity, cost control, service quality, and operating margins
- Provide regular operational reporting and recommendations to senior leadership
Candidate profile
Candidates should have approximately seven to ten years of relevant operational leadership experience, ideally across multiple sites, businesses, or service lines.
The role requires strong knowledge of supply chain, procurement, logistics, production, construction operations, or facilities management.
Candidates may come from industrial, construction, engineering, facilities management, or large-scale service environments.
Former military operations or logistics leaders who have successfully moved into commercial organisations would be of interest. Candidates from a finance background may also be considered where they have subsequently led substantial operational teams and can demonstrate strong cost control, governance, and performance management capability.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, finance, logistics, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
Package
The package includes:
- AED 25,000 to AED 30,000 per month
- Discretionary performance bonus of up to 10%
- Private medical insurance
- Relocation flight for candidates moving to the UAE
- One annual economy flight to the employee’s home destination
