MRG has partnered with an international logistics and specialist services company with operations in some of the world’s most unique environments. Our client is seeking a Financial Manager to lead its Finance & Administration team in Cape Town. This is a pivotal role with structured succession into full departmental responsibility, reporting directly to C-suite.
The Role:
– Lead Finance & Administration (Bookkeeping, HR support, and Reception).
– Drive financial planning, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
– Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and governance requirements.
– Strengthen financial controls and risk management.
– Provide strategic financial insight to support investment and operational decisions.
– Oversee HR and administrative compliance.
Key Requirements:
– Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (essential).
– Professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA or equivalent).
– 3+ years’ experience in financial management.
– Proven leadership of small, cross-functional teams. (not essential).
– Strong systems knowledge (Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics 365/Navision advantageous).
– Advanced Excel proficiency.
– Exposure to HR/administration and experience in logistics, travel, or tourism will be valued.
