The Role:

Reporting to the senior executive leadership team, the Executive Director Project Delivery will lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale theme park projects. This role holds full accountability for execution strategy, programme performance, and delivery outcomes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to world-class quality and safety standards.

The position plays a critical role in translating vision into reality, overseeing complex, multidisciplinary programmes from concept through to operational readiness, while driving innovation, guest experience excellence, and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the overall project delivery strategy for major theme park developments, ensuring alignment with broader organisational objectives.
Oversee full lifecycle delivery from design, procurement, construction through to commissioning and handover.
Manage relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and operators to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
Monitor programme timelines, budgets, risks, and resources, implementing mitigation strategies where required.
Provide regular executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and opportunities.
Embed best-in-class safety, sustainability, and quality standards across all project phases.
Build, lead, and mentor high-performing delivery teams across multiple project streams.

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will bring significant experience delivering complex, large-scale entertainment, theme park, or destination developments, and demonstrate:

Proven leadership of major project delivery programmes (15+ year’s experience).
Strong understanding of theme park design, engineering, and construction integration.
Track record of delivering projects from concept through to operations.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills at executive level.
Commercial acumen across budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
