Our client is seeking to appoint an Electronic Engineer to join their technical services division.

The Role

The Electronic Engineer will be responsible for managing and supervising the delivery of all Extra Low Voltage (ELV) service contracts across the facility. The role ensures that building systems operate to specification, supporting safe, compliant, and efficient operations. This position also plays a key part in planning, scheduling, and optimising technical activities while maintaining strong vendor and contractor oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the delivery of all ELV service contracts
  • Ensure facilities operate safely and in line with client requirements
  • Support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) activities and programmes
  • Maintain systems and infrastructure in compliance with specifications and standards
  • Meet KPI targets set by management
  • Oversee safety management processes
  • Plan and schedule facility operational and maintenance activities
  • Re‑schedule work when required to accommodate operational changes
  • Review and approve work execution plans
  • Support site teams during planned activities
  • Manage spare parts inventory and procurement
  • Manage vendors, service providers, and suppliers
  • Maintain and update data within CAFM systems
  • Ensure timely completion of scheduled activities and prompt response to client requests
  • Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Contribute to monthly operational reports
  • Review work requests, approve work orders, and monitor progress
  • Provide technical advice and problem-solving support to clients
  • Identify opportunities for system optimisation and continuous improvement
  • Provide emergency support when required
  • Enforce safety compliance among all supervised staff
  • Assist in planning and coordinating operational activities in line with contract requirements

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have strong experience in ELV engineering and facilities management, and demonstrate:

  • Degree-level qualification in Electronic Engineering
  • At least 5 years’ experience in ELV system maintenance on large FM projects
  • Proven ability to manage service providers and subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of local and international standards relating to ELV systems
  • Experience monitoring work progress and preparing technical updates and reports
  • GCC experience preferred
