The Opportunity
A confidential client is seeking a Sports Center Director to lead the launch and operation of a new Sports Medicine Center in Riyadh.
This facility forms part of a broader healthcare platform and is being developed as an integrated sports medicine, performance, and rehabilitation environment. It will operate as a live clinical and operational asset ahead of a larger flagship centre planned within a major destination development, with a clear pathway for leadership to transition into that long-term asset.
The role sits at the intersection of elite sport, healthcare, and commercial performance. The Sports Center Director will be responsible for establishing and leading a multidisciplinary operation that brings together clinical services, rehabilitation, performance, and wellness into a single, cohesive model.
This is a build-phase leadership role within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. Strategic direction sits with the healthcare OpCo, while day-to-day operations are delivered in partnership with an established hospital operator, supported by external advisory partners. The successful individual will need to operate effectively across these interfaces while building a high-performing, scalable operation.
