Our client is seeking to appoint an Agriculture Engineer / Landscape Specialist to join their estates management team.

The Role
Reporting to the Palace Manager, the Agriculture Engineer / Landscape Specialist will oversee all landscaping operations delivered by third-party suppliers. The role ensures the highest quality maintenance of softscape and hardscape elements, efficient irrigation system performance, and full compliance with contractual and environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise landscaping service providers across all sites
- Inspect softscape and hardscape areas to ensure optimum condition
- Verify maintenance activities such as pruning, fertilisation, pest control, and irrigation
- Inspect and assess irrigation system performance
- Review maintenance schedules, planting plans, and manpower allocation
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and scope of work
- Monitor water usage and sustainability practices
- Review reports and performance documents from service providers
- Issue inspection reports and track corrective actions
- Coordinate with operations teams and client representatives
- Support audit preparation and improvement proposals
- Ensure all landscaping activity meets HSE requirements
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have experience in landscaping engineering or agricultural management and demonstrate:
- Strong technical understanding of softscape, hardscape, and irrigation systems
- Experience supervising landscaping contractors in large or prestigious facilities
- Strong observation, communication, and reporting capabilities
